On International Women’s Day 2024, VidaAfrolatina launched the series Undeniable Power to amplify the voices of Black feminist leaders in Latin America. Our grantee partner Revista Afirmativa, a media collective based in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil, is producing content for the series.

Through articles, photos and social media posts, Black women in Latin America will learn about each other’s movements and members of our global community will deepen their understanding of Afro-Latin American women’s lives. In particular, Revista Afirmativa will cover the ways organizations address sexual violence. 

The Undeniable Power series is designed to connect us all with the brilliance and power of women who heal and transform.
